Regulated Agents

Jordan International Air Cargo and Defense Industries as a regulated agent provide security controls that are required or accepted by CARC for aviation security with respect to cargo and mail, which may include the screening of cargo and mail in accordance with requirement's outlined in the national civil security program (NCASP).

The Aviation Security Regulations provide for any air cargo agent to apply for security approval, provided that the company meets the security criteria set out in the regulations. Approval will provide assurances to carriers and exporters about security standards and this means that for large volumes of cargo tendered by Regulated agents, the airlines – or their transit shed operator – will not need to carry out further searching or screening.

About JIAC

JIAC&DI was formed in 2004 and specializes in lifting different ranges of air cargo to meet Jordan Market readiness for investment in air cargo and to utilize the strategic location of the country.

We are operating out of Amman Civil Airport (OJAM), Jordan International Air Cargo specializes in end-to-end cargo solutions, especially moving outsized air cargo and dangerous goods.

Today, Jordan International Air Cargo and Defense Industries is one of the largest carriers in the international charter cargo market.

Our customers can request charter operations to any destination worldwide Ilyushin 76mf freighters, Combining high quality service levels and a range of competitive products, we also have charter arrangements that enable us to utilize other types of aircraft such as the A300-600, A330, and B747.

At Jordan International Air Cargo and Defense Industries, safety and security are our top priorities, and we ensure that every flight charter is legal and regulatory matters are well taken care of.

After a relentless team work effort over a period of nine months JIAC&DI obtained a certificate from the Free Zone Establishment on October 2004 after complying with the rules and regulations allowing it to be registered as a Free Zone Area. Simultaneously, after complying with the rules and regulations of the Jordan Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA) and submitting all mandated forms for the purpose of obtaining an Air Operating Certificate (AOC), JIAC&DI was awarded its AOC under registration no. "JIA C 002" on April 2005 marking its official date for starting the company's air operations.
